Lately, though, we’ve gradually been working on growing in a different capacity. iClothing HQ is happy to announce a new mission for the new year - we are taking on a more sustainable mindset and steering the shopping experience with us to provide a more sustainable and eco-conscious outcome.
We’ve carefully curated a new collection of conscious products that will both celebrate your personal style and provide longevity for your wardrobe. Each piece will be produced with gorgeous and eco-friendly materials, meaning the amount of natural resources used during its production is greatly reduced. Keeping in mind a timeless appeal, all pieces will easily integrate with our current collection or be incorporated with your existing capsule wardrobe.
We had the pride and pleasure of introducing one of the first sustainable labels to come to the iClothing family earlier this year. Aware, by one of our beloved brands, Vero Moda, boast items composed of upcycled cottons, wools, and energy-efficient synthetic blends. Aware's upcycled fabrics are produced from manufacturing the waste of leftover scraps or unsold products made of cottons, wools, and polyblends. Upcycling these types of textiles helps reduce the waste of natural resources (such as water) that would otherwise be required for new production of such fabrics. In past generations of fashion, unsold goods that left major retail chains with high volumes of fabric waste would be shipped for disposal at landfills, breeding negative environmental impact. Aware’s thoughtful textile production considerably reduces not only the carbon footprint that would have been required to send off fabric waste but also contribute significantly to the fashion industry’s effort to moderate and, eventually, diminish fabric waste. Their progressive methods in eco-textile production offer a solution to a more sustainable fibre option that iClothing is ready to embrace. Aware’s course is the future of fashion that advocates the recycled, the reborn and finally the refashioned.
In further efforts to expand your options for eco-textile products at iClothing, our current collection includes a new organic cotton range which flaunts understated pieces that exude cool, casual minimalism. We are proud to let our customers know that our line of organic cotton has been officially accredited therefore is one-hundred per cent GMO-free. Organic cotton products are manufactured using environmentally beneficial methods and materials. This methods of operation reduces the level of water consumption and do not apply the use of harmful and hazardous pesticides and fertilisers. Aside from the low impact on the environment, the omission of the use of chemicals also improves and support ethical labour conditions for local cotton farmers.
