Sustainable Style for Springtime
At iCLOTHING, we’re taking on a sustainable state of mind. Our curated collection of Spring sustainables go beyond muted basics and features fresh and ultra-femme prints in gorgeous eco-friendly materials. Sustainable fashion doesn't have to be stern and we're here to debunk any sartorial prejudices against sustainable style! Our Spring-Summer sustainable line includes pieces that can easily be integrated with the rest of our SS 2020 collection or be incorporated with your existing capsule wardrobe of chicness.
Eco-friendly materials mean that the amount of natural resources used during its production is greatly reduced. Last year, we had the joy of introducing sustainable brand, Aware, by one of our beloved brands, Vero Moda, to the iCLOTHING family. Aware boasts items composed of upcycled cottons, wools, and energy-efficient synthetic blends. Aware's upcycled fabrics are produced from manufacturing the waste of leftover scraps or unsold products made of cottons, wools, and polyblends. Upcycling these types of textiles helps reduce the waste of natural resources (such as water) that would otherwise be required for new production of such fabrics.
Another iCLOTHING brand that has taken the course that advocates the recycled, the reborn and the refashioned is Pieces. Pieces' production is heavily in cahoots with the Better Cotton Initiative. Their line of sustainable denims is a favourite at HQ! Thoughtful textile production considerably reduces not only the carbon footprint that would have been required to send off fabric waste but also contribute significantly to the fashion industry’s effort to moderate and, eventually, diminish fabric waste. Their progressive methods in eco-textile production offer a solution to a more sustainable fibre option that iCLOTHING is ready to embrace.
